While we encourage you to schedule a time to visit The King’s Academy, we understand you will be thinking through many questions as you consider The King’s Academy. Below are some of the questions we hear most often from prospective students and their parents.

How do I go about arranging a visit to campus and meeting with an admissions counselor?
Brochures and websites are helpful, but there is no substitute for a campus tour. Please call our Admissions Office at (561) 686-4244, Ext. 335 to schedule an appointment.
Can students spend the day at The King’s Academy to meet students and teachers and experience the atmosphere?
Parents are welcome to request a Student Shadow Visit for their child(ren) applying for 4th – 12th grade.
What age must students be to begin preschool?
Students must be four years old by September 1 for our Junior Kindergarten class.
What age must students be to begin kindergarten?
Students must be five years old by September 1.
What are the school hours?
School begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:05 p.m.
Does The King’s Academy offer after school care?
We offer After Care until 6:00 p.m. for JK-6th grade students for an additional fee.
How many students attend The King’s Academy?
As of August 2016, 1255 students are enrolled.
What is The King’s Academy's tuition?

Does The King’s Academy accept McKay scholarships?
No.
Is there any sort of financial assistance available?
Each year, The King’s Academy offers need-based financial assistance to make its educational experience accessible to qualified students. To receive information about financial assistance, please call the Business Office at (561) 686-4244 or click here for more information. Requests for financial assistance information will not affect admission decisions.
How much financial assistance may I expect to receive?
Each award is individualized, based upon the financial need of each applicant.
Does The King’s Academy offer transportation?
Yes. Bussing is included in the cost of tuition. Our buses travel from Tequesta to Delray and from Palm Beach Island to Loxahatchee.
Does The King’s Academy make accommodations for students with learning differences?
Yes. TKA encourages parents of students with individual learning needs to share all documented learning needs during the admissions process so that parents can learn about Success For All Students, NILD Discovery, Rx for Discovery, SEARCH, TEACH, Explore, as well as Speech-Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy.
