Athletics, Extracurriculars, and Student Life

The King’s Academy offers students abundant opportunities and resources to get involved inside and outside of the classroom. All college tours, major student life events, and student trips are included in the cost of international student tuition. These include the senior trip to Europe, the sophomore trip to Puerto Rico, our overnight junior class college tour, our annual trip to Universal Studios, and much more.

The King’s Academy offers 23 different sports at multiple levels of experience and skillsets. TKA’s athletic programs develop opportunities for leadership, sportsmanship, team-building, and camaraderie. TKA athletes and teams have been recognized at district, regional, state, and national levels. Many Alumni have played both collegiately and professionally, including the National Football League and Major League Baseball.

TKA offers 21 different clubs and organizations, 11 co-curricular fine arts activities, 3 student-produced school publications, and 8 regularly scheduled student trips. In addition, many students participate in community service activities. The 112 seniors of the Class of 2014 logged 26,050 community service hours during their four years of high school.
