Days of Homecoming

Monday – Mix n Match day with crazy hats, socks, ties and sunglasses
*Shop thrift stores for inexpensive “crazy” outfits that do not match!

Tuesday – Theme dress up day
*Characters from your Disney Movie

Wednesday – Twin/Multiple Day
*Be two, three, four or more of a kind with matching costumes or outfits!

Thursday – Color Day (Class shirt, shoes, ribbons & hats in your grade’s color)
*Jeans must be worn on this day. No shorts.

Friday – Spirit Clothes (Support TKA-Go Lions!)

 Guidelines for Dress

Shoes: Closed-toe shoes need to be worn all week. No backless sandals, flip-flops or high heels allowed.

Shirts: All shirts must refrain from offensive words, images or ideas. No sleeveless, low–cut or tank tops allowed. No mid-riffs.

All of the following must be knee-length or longer: Board shorts, Capri’s or Jeans. Shorts may be worn every day except Thursday. No leggings or white pants allowed.
 

Events of the Week

Homeroom Doors

• Each homeroom will be decorating their door to represent their Disney movie. Judges will be around Wednesday after homeroom to judge.
• Each morning in homeroom (excluding Wednesday and Friday) students will be sent to the HS office and points will be given for the best dressed for that day.

Change Mania – Change containers will be in the cafeteria all week. (Change and Bills only- No checks) All monies will be sent to support the ministry of Livada Orphan Care in Romania.

Tuesday – Final dress rehearsal for each class (see schedule below). All props, costuming and music that you plan to have in your skit will be used on this day. Nothing may be added to the final presentation on Friday.

Tuesday evening – 6:30PM Powder Puff Game/Male Cheerleading competition/ Bon Fire/ Car Smashing/Golf Cart Presentations/Band Performance/BBQ
*$1.00 entrance (All monies will go to Livada Orphan Care)

Thursday – Presentation of the Homecoming King and Queen (see schedule below)

Friday – Class Skit presentations & Almost Anything Goes (1/2 day of school)- No classes on this day.

There will be points awarded to each class for the following:

• Best dressed student (3 days)
• Homeroom doors
• Change Mania – in the café
• Class Skits
• Golf Carts
• Attendance at the Powder Puff Game/Bon Fire
• Almost Anything Goes Competition (3 games)

All activities and competitions will be between the 7th & 8th grades, 9th & 10th grades, & the 11th & 12th grades

PRIZE – The overall winner of Homecoming will receive a dress down day.
