Senior Points

The purpose behind seniors earning senior service points during their senior year is to broaden the students learning experience and perspective by providing exposure to and engaging with the entire TKA community.  As part of our mission statement and school philosophy we strive to, in partnering with the home, train Christian leaders who impact their peers and their environment.  Being a person of character and integrity in part means becoming a contributing member of the community.
We believe that seniors working for and supporting each other and the school by volunteering their time at various functions provides them the opportunity to be both an influence and example to other students as they serve while earning senior service points.

Seniors going on the senior trip are required to earn 8 senior points.  They may begin earning them in the summer before their senior year and continue throughout the senior school year.

Seniors will be encouraged to sign up for projects early in the school year.  Approval for a special project is required before the project in order to receive full credit.

TKA Senior Service Project forms are available in the Student Life office.  Upon completion of a project the form must be turned in to Mrs. Kolar.  It is up to the senior to confirm how many points they have been awarded.  Mrs. Kolar will be keeping the master list of service points earned.

Senior service projects are not to be served during school hours unless prior approval is given.
