Important Athletic Information
Mandatory Forms are required for all TKA Athletics Grades 6-12. All forms should be fully completed and turned into the Athletic Department prior to conditioning/tryouts/athletic participation/team membership. Forms can be faxed or copied and addressed to TKA Athletic Department.
* All athletes must have primary insurance or supplemental athletic participation insurance in order to play a sport. Please list insurance information on the FHSAA EL3 form.
Athletic paperwork will also be available at Athletics Orientation Day or in the Athletics Office. Please make sure that all required athletic paperwork is fully completed before the first day of tryouts for your sport. Athletic paperwork is valid for one year from the date that it is completed.
Athletics Orientation Day
Friday August 1st is TKA’s inaugural Athletics Orientation Day.
The schedule of events is as follows:
3:00-6:00PM Sports Physicals and Athletic Paperwork Collection
4:30-6:00PM Baseline Concussion Testing for TKA Football players
6:00PM Athletic Orientation Meeting for Students and Parents
7:00PM Nationally Recognized Recruiting Expert Jack Renkens
Athletics Orientation Day will be a great opportunity to have a sports physical for the upcoming year completed on campus, and at a time that will prevent any paperwork running out during the school year. We will also be doing baseline concussion testing for all football players starting at 4:30. The event will shift into the Sports and Fine Arts Center at 6:00pm for an Athletics Orientation Meeting where students and parents will be given the new TKA Athletics Handbook that will lay out the policies and procedures for the upcoming athletic year.
